Adam has had several years of professional working experience in the IT industry before venturing into Health IT in 2002. There, he specialized in Medical Imaging Informatics and related technologies before moving onto the wider spectrum of Healthcare Informatics. Adam binaryHealthCare – a social enterprise (with a focus on Asia and developing countries) advocating Health IT as an enabler for “better patient care at lower cost” by raising the standards of health informatics through;

1) BinaryHealthCare.com – Provides updates, insights and knowledgebase (articles and whitepaper) on technology, healthcare and health informatics in general

2) ClubPACS.com – a global online, vendor neutral community for health informatics professionals, facilitating knowledge exchange, sharing of best practices, networking and collaborations to ‘raise the bar’ among health informatics professionals

3) Founding “International PACS Administrator Appreciation Day” (www.PACSAdminDay.com), a day of recognition and appreciation for imaging informatics professional and supporting staff all over the world, allowing bonding and advancement of the profession on an international level

A recognized subject matter expert on the area of Health IT, Adam is a published author, an experienced conference speaker; serves as adjunct faculty (health informatics) with institutes of higher learning in Asia and an active contributing member to several international Technology and Health IT initiatives and committees.

Adam is also listed in Marquis' Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare and holds the honour of being the first inductee of the Microsoft Certified Professional Hall of Fame, International.

Adam Chee, an expert in PACS and healthcare infomatics, has recently joined the IDC-SIG. He is keen to offer advice to other members struggling with IT issues in developing countries.
